A Letter to the Editor of a Newspaper on T.V Program

    The Editor,

    The News.

     Lahore.

     Subject:  Conditions of TV Programmes.

Sir,

I shall be thankful to you if you publish this letter in the column of your esteemed daily. Television is becoming very popular in every country. It has become a main source of entertainment and information. It influence is widespread and its charm stands undefeated. It is very sad note that Programs on TV nether entertaining nor Informative. They are dull and boring. They don't add anything to knowledge. Most of the plays move around the old theme of love, romance and adventure. Life in these plays is shown as a gay and Beautiful drama. Scenes having sex appeal, vulgar  dialogues and commonplace jokes have become the routine themes of these plays. They leave s harmfully  influence on the mind and character of young boys and girls.

The news bulletins is one sided and prejudiced. It offers one sided propaganda in favor of rulling party. The music programmes lacks originality and charm.

The new singers are introduced but they do not know the art singing. The programmes of TV lack educational value. They do not depict our culture and ideology in theirs true color. The following suggestions are given to improve them.

  1. The programmes must be reflects our culture and ideology.
  2. Only hardworking producers and directors should be employed to conduct programmes.
  3.  They must educate and guide the people on our social and economics problems.
 Your sincerely,
X.Y.Z.
